This year we will stay again in the beautiful mid-range-hotel which is placed in a peaceful side street of Cannaregio. It is  close to the railway station and from here it is just a few steps to the quay for boarding the "water bus" services, to the old jewish ghetto and many cosy bàcari, the typical venetian taverns.

As always, the emphasis will be on portrait painting - who could not be thrilled by the chance to capture a real Venetian character on paper. However, landscape painters will also have plenty of opportunity to study and record the angles, streets and canals of Venice.
